Baking session!

Well today my hubby had to leave for work for a few days (I hate it...I'm so bored and I miss him too much when he's gone, it's bad) so I decided I'd call over my little cousin Erin A.K.A. baker in training :)
We made from scratch snickerdoodles...And I must say they were YUMMY!

On another note...Is it normal for your ribs to KILL while being pregnant. Yeah, I know some womens do because their baby is kicking them etc. but I have had it for like 3 months now that my left side from my back all the way around the front of my ribs hurts constantly no matter what. It is sooo uncomfortable and it's worse when I try to sleep. It has gotten to the point that sometimes it hurts when I breath unless I sit wayyyy far up and stretch. So not fun...

If you ignore the fact that my eyes are sooo squinted you can barely see them or just that this is an awful picture in general, you can see my 'days away from 7 months' belly...Which had to of seemed larger than usual today. Most people have been telling me I look small for almost 7 mo. until today with this dress a man said "wow you look like you are are about ready to have em' huh?" ...gotta love those comments while you are pregnant right?

Weddings/Baby Movement

Wow! I have been so busy this is like the first time i could sit down without having something to do. Between getting things ready for our little guy, editing, wrapping up my look books, and consultations I have been soooo worn out lately. I just feel like i haven't stopped! I'm not complaining though :)...I got two weddings coming up in which I am doing the photography and the wedding cakes both and they are beautiful cakes so it will be very fun! I got an order today for a bridal shower cake that I'm pretty sure I will be in love with...White with black flowers and silver accents with a pink ribbon around each tier..lovely! I also have the sweetest tutu to make...all black with a HUGE pink bow at the waist and rhinestones for ballet class and some bows...So I'm pretty busy!

ANYWAY..Enough about all the business talk. Let's get to the fun stuff....NOAH :) my little man is quite the mover and groover. He's getting bigger and it is so cool how i can actually see my stomach move when he's doing flips/kicking/who knows what in there. He moves allll day long takes a nap in the evening i think and loves to wake up and kick me like a mule right when i start going to sleep. Nice right? Probably just preparing me for when he's actually here lol. It's so weird how they shift their little bodies around in there...it is the coolest feeling ever! So in about 5 days i will officially be seven months..too bad I'll still have like two and a half at least more :(
So I am sooo excited that the baby shower is coming up soon! I've been looking forward to it i think the whole time I've been pregnant (is that weird?) lol...I've had the sketch made of the cake and the cookies forEVER so I'm excited to make those and just spoil our little guy.

When we first found out we were having a boy my biggest anxiety about it was "oh my gosh. where the heck am i going to find non cheesy cute baby boy clothes???" ha Silly. I have managed to find them and I am so excited to see my little man! I think that kenneth cole makes just the most adorable little baby boy clothes! He's going to look like a little man in his ensambles :)

So I'm over the really tired part and never had any real sickness but geeze. Now I feel like my stomach is going to pull apart. Everyone that feels my belly freaks out and say it's the hardest prego belly ever hah and It is. My tummy like doesn't give at all when you feel it...And I'm so ready to be able to wear normal clothes. I think I've cried like three times about it to be honest. Especially when you go shopping with girls and they get adorable clothes and you just have to wait until you get this basketball tummy gone...But he's worth it :)

Cake Class!!!

So this weekend I got to see my lovely sister in laws which I love so much! They live so far away it is special when we all get together! This time we decided that everyone wanted to learn about cakes so I would do a "cake class." Oh boy.....

Well the cake we made turned out pretty good! Here are some photos
OK OK....so the two themes don't really go together but we had fun! They wanted to learn how to make flowers so I showed them...and then they somehow made their way to the cake! Certainly
tasty too :)

So much fun! I'm convinced I have the best sister in laws ever!

Custom Cakery/Camo Cake

This cake was ordered by one lucky man's fiance for him before he had to go back to Iraq from leave

Details:
  • One tier 8" round covered in fondant
  • Flavors: He loves brownies so I made a dark chocolate cake with carmel inside the cake and as filler along with cream and chopped walnuts
  • Adorned with fondant accents and edible boots

Tutu Love

Here is a Tutu made size 4T with a coordinating Bow that I absolutely loved!

The Tutu has an elastic waist (this one is uncovered to show you what it looks like, you have the option to have the waist wrapped with a coordinating satin bow) Also, each tutu has the option to have an elastic waist or a ribbon waist

Each Tutu has a coordinating bow that can be worn on the front or back

This Tutu was hot pink and purple and adorned with Rhinestones throughout. (Rhinestones and other accessories are free of charge upon request)

It also has a coordinating hair bow to match

Tutu Cute

Here is a tutu I custom made for a little girl I took photos of for her one year shoot :) Needless to say,..she looked adorable! The photos of it can be viewed under the Imagine Photography label on this page or at Imaginephotographyonline.blogspot.com. These are not the best photos it was very dark :(

The tutu was an almost hot pink with very light pink accenting it
The waist is elastic on this tutu which you have the option to have elastic or a ribboned waist
Each tutu is wrapped around the waist with a coordinating satin ribbon and bow
There is an option to get a matching bow to coordinate with the tutu as well
Each tutu can be adorned with rhinestones or special accents at no additional charge upon request

Bows Galore!

Here are some bows that I did for a recent order. There was no specifications on the order on what colors etc. so I just made a wide variety for her to chose from. Each bow is custom made to order with choosing your color, pattern, clip style, etc. I do many bows ranging from big to small, alligator clips, snap clips, newborn and up headbands (has option to have nylon, ribbon, or flower/accessory that is permanent or interchangable), and I do grown up headbands that have the feathers, flowers, lace whichever accent you would like. Each bow is lined and covered to match the rest of the bow and to be sure it does not slip from fine hair. I added photos in groups because there were so many but if you want to see any of them individually let me know!

Custom Creations...I love it!

I am so excited about all the new things I am learning!!! As most of you know I do custom cakes, and other sweets as well as photography but I've added some more to the list!! I am now doing custom little tutu's from newborn sizes up and custom bows as well :) I am thrilled to be doing this..I've always known how to but now I'll be selling them because I've found that it is realllly hard to find esp. tutu's around here for a reasonable price and they are just too cute to not have because of costly expenses! First of October I will be busy doing a birthday party where I will be making a chocolate and purple tutu with a polka dot bow on the side of the same colors with a matching hair bow for her to wear with it....and I'm doing her birthday cake in purple and chocolate too! Whoo hoo! With the bows I'm doing the bow holders as well that can either be just the bow holder or with A custom painted letter of the girl who will be using it! I'll be putting up some photos soon of stuff I'm working on :)

Happy Anniversary Sweetie!

I cannot believe that one year has gone by soooo quickly or that we have been able to squeeze so much into it!! We've come a long way in one year i must say and I am so lucky to be married to such a great man of God!! This morning was so sweet he got up in front of everyone at church and about cried talking about our marriage and how we have a little boy on the way...Of course he reminisced about life before marriage. When he would put deodorant on in the kitchen and leave it on the table (ok. seriously don't do that. It's gross. And weird.), would hardly ever do his own laundry and when he did would leave it in the washer so long it would have to be washed all over again, would give me his shirts saturday night and i would iron them for him and bring it to church sunday morning....ahh the single life hehe! I couldn't ask for anything more...I have an incredible husband and a beautiful little guy that we will see in a few months..Life is grand :)

It's August Already?!?..plus a big move in store :)

Don't hold your breath it's a long one...

Wow, I cannot believe that it is August already..the summer has flown by! August also means that in just a few short days I will be 6 mo.!! How exciting..except for the fact that you grow up thinking pregnancy lasts for 9 months and then you get there and realize they just somehow forgot to mention those extra 30 or so days right?! It's ok, hopefully it will go quickly with all the plans coming up! We get to make that (looooong) drive to Middlebury pretty soon so see my SIL Amy and Hollie who are flying in whom of which I haven't seen Hollie since our wedding and Amy for like 9 mo. or something crazy like that!! I must say I think I have the BEST SILS they all are awesome! This past weekend my other SIL drove down and spent some time with us so it has been great actually being able to see them!

I just can hardly believe that around this time last year we were trying to get everything in place for our wedding...it seems as though we have been married for like 5 yrs. haha but this year has gone by soooo fast! People always say that the first year is the hardest and baby if that is the hardest we have got it made :)

Our NEWEST news?????......

WE'RE MOVING!!! WHOOO HOOOOO! We didn't want to say anything until it was all concrete but we will be moving around the first week of Sept. to our new house! It is Loogootee but on OUR side right on the edge of town so it's not too bad and a closer drive for Aaron to work. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE OUR HOUSE!!! Those of you who have been to our current house know that we need some more room and this one has it! The men that Aaron works for built it ground up so everything will be brand new and we are now only waiting on floors, cabinets, and paint!! I know I should have taken pictures to show you all a preview but for now I will just tell you about it!!The first level is well the garage (not sure if that counts?), half bath, living room, dining room, laundry room, master bed and master bath. The master bed/bath of course is my favorite part of the whole house! If you know me you know I have a crazy enfatuation with fashion and clothes so i LOVE our huge walk in closet...it is attatched to the master bath with the his and her sinks something I love because I'm such a neat freak Aaron gets upset when i put his things away! hehe But the second level has the other full bath, sitting area, office, and two bedrooms. My sister and I are going out there today so I'll be sure to take some pictures for all of you :)

I've been adding to my collection of blue and brown custom cakery supplies and getting ideas for the baby shower..haha My excuse to come up with new stuff!!!I can hardly wait until the shower...something about everyone coming together to celebrate this little man that I am obsessed with already makes me really happy :) .....Noah is growing more and more and is still super active but boy...the sleeping situation STINKS when you are pregnant! But oh well, it will be ok!

Me and my wonderful Hubby

Me and my wonderful Hubby
