Past the First Trimester!

FINALLY....it seems like this first part of pregnancy has been soooooooooo slow in coming and it is officially over!! Let the fun begin! My belly is looking like there is actually something in there not just chunk and we went for out second ultrasound yesterday..my how he/she has grown!! The heartbeat was very strong and you could see the distinct head, belly, arms, and legs :) How sweet! Now we are still anxiously awaiting to see the sex..oh my how i cannot wait for these next 7 weeks to pass by!!! Mia (the little girl i watch) now points to my belly and says baby every day and Aaron keeps talking to it more and more...Yesterday we finally got to see little Abigail Grace Davidson and how precious she is. It was just to so weird to see her after all this time we had been watching her grow with Bri and awaiting her arrival...she's beautiful and has some great parents!!


On another note....Dear dear Jessie had an awesome post about lifting up our hubbys and not taking them for granted and oh my goodness i often find myself doing just that..It's awful. I mean I know i tell him how much i love him until he probably gets tired of it...but that I appreciate him?..Not as often as I should and he does SOOO much.

He is such a wonderful loving husband who always supports me in everything that i do or dream of doing

He lifts me up when I'm down with his silly dances

He loves the Lord and is so passionate about his Faith

He always is trying to find ways to help others

He is a great provider

He is such a handiman i never have something he can't build or fix (thank the Lord!!)

He is so anxious and excited to be a dad and will be sooo wonderful at it

He puts his family in upmost priority and loves them to the end of the world

He takes care of me when i'm sick, rubs my feet and back all the time

He kisses me everyday and makes sure to say "I love you" everynight

He protects me

He will sit and play piano just because he knows i loooove to listen to it

He is wonderful....God made him just for me!!! I know some of these things may not seem to big to some of you...but i love him for them and I know I am leaving things out....but hey those are things i could just tell him to his face :)

Just a quick update

Well things are finally speeding up!! Yay! I've got a lot of shoots lined up and am hoping to get some more too...I just did a shoot with Mia Raine a friend of the family and I'll also be babysitting her allll summer! She's so sweet! I've got some newborn shoots coming up,some family, and couples shoots including mom and dad's 20th anniversary photos!! i'm really excited about the couples photos because I always sit around thinking about neat unique couples poses :) Mia was one of the first children i've shot and i must say it's a little more challenging because you can't just say sit here do this lol...but it's neat to try and capture their moments...just snap as fast as you can!!!...Also with cakes..did a neat one for mom's mother's day gift I had asked her what her favorite color was and of course mom had SUCH a festive answer...GREY!!!!!!..oh my goodness. So i went with what she always wears..green and brown. So i did a two tier chocolate fondant colored base with green flowers and accents...she loved it!! I cannot wait to get more to do! I am already planning for the baby shower i am going to make lots of party favor type cakes...mini's if you will! :)...well i think that is all for now..gotta go get Mia. SOOO ready for more shoots!!!!..i promise next time it'll be really interesting and put pictures of the growing belly

I had my hands full this week!! I got to photograph Mia..one of the most beautiful and energetic babies i know!! Even though we never got her to sit still, her cute little face gave me a lot to work with and I'm really glad about how they've turned out!!!

Little Baby Willis

Well baby, you and mommy have been together for nearing on three months already and I just keep getting more and more excited and wondrous of you! It is truly amazing how you are growing and developing!! This week you have even started to get hair and nail follicles (i pray you have hair!) This past weekend we visited your cousin baby Jeremiah..and oh my goodness it made me so excited to see how loving he is to his mama kissing her all day and just being oh so sweet :) Only a few more weeks and mommy and daddy will FINALLY get to see if you are a little lady or little lad and we are sooooo anxious!!!

Well the school year is finally ending and I couldn't be more excited!! I've got a lot of photography shoots coming up which I am SUPER excited about as well as making a bunch of cakes! The one I am most excited for is mom and dad's because I'm surprising them :)...it's OK they don't read this!! So i can share....Well they will be married for TWENTY years this month and haven't had pictures taken of the two of them since oh like 1994 or something crazy like that so I am going to take their photos earlier in the day on the 23rd and I'll edit my little heart out and hopefully have some ready for the evening because I'm planning a surprise anniversary party! Sneaky sneaky....they totally will not be expecting it...and I'm VERY excited about their cake I'm making for their party..it's going to be covered in smooth baby blue fondant and I'm going to make it very romantic with a branch that i'll make and have it winding up the whole cake with sugar flowers all over the branch!! Yay i'm so excited about it...

I have been finding myself sitting here just thinking about how much i appreciate and love my hubby...He's so perfect. I know he is just going to be the best daddy and i can't wait to see his face when he see's the baby for the first time!!! I love the little things...his goofy dances and songs he makes up that i just roll my eyes at but KNOW that if he didn't do them anymore i would miss it, his little notes around the house, the way he tells me to take care of the baby every morning, and just the way he loves me...so if you are reading this boo...I LOVE YOU!!!
